The website https://www.zapfi.org (“zapfi.org”) is owned and operated by Zap Finance (“ZapFi”). This term of service applies to any services/subprojects (e.g. Double Or Trouble) (“Services”) that was created by ZapFi. Please read the Terms of Service document carefully before using the zapfi.org website. By using the zapfi.org website, you have signify your agreement to be bound by ZapFi’s Terms of Service. When you use any current or future Services of ZapFi, you will be subject to the terms, guidelines and conditions applicable to that of ZapFi. If these Terms of Service are inconsistent with such terms, the terms will control.

These “Terms of Service” constitute an electronic record within the meaning of the applicable law. The electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures. The Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the ZapFi website(s), tools, features or functionalities provided in connection with our services, with your own discretion, to interact, access the Services or transfer tokens on public blockchains.

1. Your Account

Your account on the service (“Account”) will be associated with your linked blockchain address. The blockchain address can be from Polkadot.js or any other third-party wallet provided in the future. By using your wallet in connection with the Service, you agree that you are using that wallet under the terms and conditions of the applicable provider of the wallet. Wallets are not operated by, or affiliated with ZapFi and ZapFi does not have custody or control over the contents of your wallet and has no ability to retrieve or transfer its contents. ZapFi also accepts no responsibility for, or liability to you, in connection with your use of a wallet and makes no representations or warranties regarding how the Service will operate with any specific wallet. You should be the one contacting the wallet provider if you ever discover an issue related to your wallet. ZapFi is not liable for any acts or omissions by you in connection with your Account or as a result of your Account or wallet being compromised as it is your sole responsibility to do so. ZapFi does not store any password or seed phrase, nor has any access to User credential.

2. Unauthorised Access

By using the Services, you have agreed not to access or utilise ZapFi and/or Services for the purpose of web crawling, web harvesting, data mining, data extraction, scraping or aggregating information. You are also strictly prohibited to carry out any behaviour that disrupts, suspends, slows or prevents the continuity of the Services. This includes any intrusion into ZapFi’s information systems, any action placing disproportionate load on ZapFi’s digital infrastructures, any infringement  of the security and authentication measures and any act infringing ZapFi’s rights and financial interests.

3. Interruptions

Your access and use of the Services may be interrupted from time to time for any reasons, including without limitations, the event of force unforeseeable and unavoidable behaviour of the third party, periodic maintenance, introduction of new features, repairs of Services which might be taken in place.

4. Disclaimer

ZapFi operates the platform for Services allowing users to interact with our Services directly on the Aleph Zero blockchain. ZapFi is NOT a wallet provider, exchange, broker, financial institution, money services business or creditor. You agree, understand and acknowledge that the websites are an online administrative platform only, which acts as an interface to interact directly with the Protocols and Blockchains. ZapFi does not provide the Protocol and do not have custody to or control in any manner any transactions on the website.

All Services made by ZapFi that are categorized as games should only be considered as fun and entertainment purpose only. Upon engaging on Services, you have agreed that you have fully understood the How To Play of the game and are fully responsible of your own actions and outcome of the Services including all the potential wins and losses from the Services. In addition, you have also agreed to not hold ZapFi or any organisations responsible for any losses or damage as you are the only one responsible for your actions. You have also acknowledge that all games from Services will have a house edge against you. This would be acknowledged on the website of the Services as well.

5. Disclosure

Our mini-game Double Or Trouble was created as an incentive mainly for ZapFi stakers. The mini-game itself is ZapFi’s first dApp and uses our own source of randomness. With randomness being a tricky problem to solve on blockchains and Verifiable Random Function (VRF) from an oracle was not used, this makes the randomness outcome not 100% unpredictable and unbiased. We do however plan to integrate VRFs for our future games that involves randomness.
